Muks Hirani

Muks is a Technical Director and Incident Response Function Lead in Mandiant’s EMEA/APJ office. As part of the Incident Response team, Muks provides emergency services to clients when a security breach occurs. He also conducts forensic investigations, and provides incident response and forensics training. During Muks’ 5 years in Mandiant, he has worked in both Mandiants EMEA/APJ Incident Response team, and Mandiants US Computer Incident Response team. Muks was responsible for leading and assisting dozens of organisations that involved advanced targeted threats and financial threats, he works closely with colleagues on new methods to proactively identify threats using new host-based and network-based methodologies. Muks has a thorough understanding of malware, computer forensics, and tactics, techniques, and procedures that are leveraged by attackers. Muks provides an immediate benefit to organisations that have both developing and mature security programs.
